Clients received delivery of Delidocks product in 2018 and had some delays to implement, however they finally implemented the floating dock project in Riau Province, Sumatra from Oct–Nov 2021.
Clients used an Airbus H145 helicopter for 23-hours to make 45 lifts to fly all the materials (14,700 kgs) 13.5-km (25-km by river) distance over the peat forest from our Eco-Research Camp to Tasik Tengah.
The Tasik Tengah floating helipad and tent camp is used by the Restorasi Ekosistem Riau (RER) program as a Remote Outpost for Forest Security Rangers and RER technical staff to guard and patrol the forest. They also host company guests to visit the site learn more about peat land forest restoration and enjoying kayaking, fishing, and relaxing.
The tent has available a full kitchen, shower, toilet, solar power and genset and can comfortably sleep 4 people. So far, all the floating platform materials are performing well.
