With the rapid development of economy and the improvement of living standards, part of China’s coastal cities have had the economic conditions for consumption of yachts, the development of the yacht industry is entering the golden age.In 2018, China produced 2,010 yachts, of which the sales volume of the luxury yacht market was about 5.11 billion yuan, accounting for 44.6% of the whole yacht industry, with an average annual growth rate of more than 30%.The total number of yachts in China has reached 22060 in 2018, and is expected to reach 38,100 and 163,510 by 2020 and 2025.
China’s export yacht types are mainly concentrated in small and medium-sized yachts, mainly in the size of 24-48 feet (7.3-14.6 meters) between, more than 50 feet (15 meters) of the yacht sales are also growing. 3,Hainan province yacht industry development status

By 2018, hainan has 3 yacht manufacturing enterprises, 30 yacht sales and service enterprises, more than 40 yacht clubs, and 6 yacht-related professional training institutions. It has built 16 yacht marinas, over 1,900 berths, and about 800 yachts.
4,Analysis of driving factors of yacht industry development
(1) Rapid economic development promotes the development of the yacht industry
According to the development law of the world yacht industry, when the per capita GDP reaches 3000 usd, the yacht economy starts to sprout;When reaching 5000 dollars, the yacht economy enters the rapid development stage;And when the per capita GDP exceeds 6000 us dollars, the yacht industry will also enter the high-speed development stage.
